The newest Bachelor has been announced: Clayton Echard, the sixth runner-up on Michelle Young's season of The Bachelorette. Clayton will star in the next season of The Bachelor, airing on January 3rd on ABC.
The choice is not without controversy. The final four of this season were all Black mixed-race men, none of whom was chosen to be Bachelor. It seems sus that a white guy who got barely any screen time was given the spot instead of one of them.
